Me too, Mindy. Me too.
Last weekend I was in Dahlonega, Georgia for the weekend and was surprised by how many wineries and vineyards are out there! A group of 7 of us rented this massive SUV and had to navigate it up the tiny windy roads to get to this scenic spot. Although my heart will always be with WA wine, I enjoyed getting a taste of Georgia. Who knew? 🤷🏼‍♀️🍷
“Mike Mike Mike Mike Mike guess what day it is?!” Anybody else remember that amazing Geico commercial? I have a friend named Mike and I still greet him that way every time I see him (he might hate me, it’s fine). Hope y’all are having a fantastic #humpday🐫 Get out there, smell some flowers, and open a rosé on this gorgeous afternoon!
Yesterday I celebrated the birth of my dear friend at her garden-themed birthday party that featured a few wine and food pairings selected by yours truly. 6 wines, 4 small bites, a ridiculous amount of cheese, and an ice cream cake. It was a BLAST leading the ladies through our tastings and talking about the wines as little or as much as they wanted. I also may or may not have tried to steal this wine barrel chair and later realized it was a million pounds. Anyway, tell me about YOUR #dreamjob, because I feel like I’ve found mine!
Doing the tourist thing today and joining the hoards of people at @chateaustemichelle. There’s an outdoor summer concert tonight, so we had to find this shaded oasis to drink our wine. This is a tasty Riesling for under $20! ☀️
I went to my friend’s house last night and lounged on her outdoor patio, soaking up the Seattle sun and drinking some bubbly. She greeted us with this perfectly adorable cheese board, featuring many @traderjoes finds, which was devoured shortly after snapping this photo. Milo (pup) wished he could have helped us. 😊 This is pretty much my dinner once a week, so if you have any favorite #meatandcheese pairings let me know what they are!
